A vacancy has arisen within the Sales office for a Sales Coordinator reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader. This role would suit a well organised individual providing support to direct customers, intercompanies and distributors along with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team. Previous experience working in a Sales or Customer Service Department or similar would be an advantage.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Process customer orders and amendments
Liaise with other departments across Europe to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded
Generate Quotations: supply pricing and supporting information to customers to secure new business.
Provide excellent customer support over the phone and by email
Report analysis: proactively look for improvements in supply chain for customers
Work with Commercial Regional Managers and colleagues to provide competitive customer support
Skills and qualifications:
A key aspect of the role will involve dealing with internal & external customers therefore a friendly and confident telephone manner, alongside excellent communication skills are essential
As well as working as part of a team, the ability to work alone, react to changing targets and be able to prioritise tasks is crucial to this role
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure is essential
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Particularly CRM, Excel & Word) and the confidence to learn internal software programs & procedures
Previous experience in a similar role, whilst not essential, would be an advantage
The successful applicant will work a 37.50 hour week.
Hours of work: - Monday to Thursday 8.15 am - 5.00 pm.
Friday 8.15 - 12.45 pm, with cover until 2.30 pm required once every 4-5 weeks
