Our client are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations, ensuring smooth order processing, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. This position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities

Order Processing:
+ Process customer purchase order numbers accurately and efficiently
+ Enter orders into the company's system, ensuring all details are correct
+ Verify order information, including pricing, quantities, and specifications
+ Resolve any discrepancies or issues with orders promptly
Logistics Coordination:
+ Liaise with the logistics department to coordinate order shipments
+ Track order status and provide updates to customers and internal teams
+ Ensure timely delivery of orders and address any shipping delays or issues
+ Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders as needed
Customer Service:
+ Serve as a key contact for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns
+ Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships
+ Communicate order status, shipping information, and any changes to customers
+ Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or management
Interdepartmental Collaboration:
+ Work closely with sales, logistics, finance, and production teams
+ Facilitate communication between departments to ensure order fulfillment
+ Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects as needed
+ Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Documentation Management:
+ Manage shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
+ Prepare and process customer invoices in a timely manner
+ Maintain organised records of all transactions and communications
+ Update systems with relevant information, including order status and customer data
Reporting and Analysis:
+ Generate regular reports on sales activities, order status, and customer feedback
+ Analyze data to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement
+ Assist in preparing presentations and summaries for management
+ Contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales coordination function
Qualifications and Skills

2+ years of experience in a sales support or customer service role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Great communicator and team player
