We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to operate within a defined territory in the South of England alongside our Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing quotations for the sales of playground equipment, safety surfacing and other open space improvements to drive business growth and integrate Infinity Playgrounds further within the designated territory. There will be the intention to develop the role into a Sales Manager, taking on account management and lead generation in addition to the Sales Coordinator roles.
Salary:
Minimum starting salary of 28,000.00 per annum (negotiable based on experience) and commission at an agreed rate on all invoiced sales (more information on the discretionary commission scheme is available upon request).
Duties:
- Promptly respond to enquiries, arrange site visits and provide the best solution and quotation for the works
- Price projects using our company pricing structure, making use of the operations team and wider business for advice where required
- Able to work under pressure to meet expected growth targets
- Monitor industry activity and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales team to propose and develop promotional campaigns and initiatives
- Build strong relationships with key clients during the prospecting and sales stages to enhance customer satisfaction
- Produce project handover packages for the Operations team to process and take to completion
Qualifications:
- Have an understanding of the works requirements for a construction project, ideally the processes specific to playground and safety surfacing installation
- Proven experience in a role requiring self management, preferably in sales or business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions to drive business growth
- Good use of Microsoft office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
