Innovate was established in 2012 and delivers specialist solutions to Contractors and Surveyors across Northern Ireland, Ireland, and the UK. The business supplies a wide range of products for the construction and infrastructure industries and is best known for its surveying equipment expertise.
Over time, Innovate has expanded its partner network to provide end-to-end solutions both on and off machine, supporting architectural, engineering, and construction professionals.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As Innovate continues to grow, we are seeking an
experienced, driven and self-sufficient Sales Coordinator / Sales Executive
to take ownership of sales activity and customer engagement within the business.
This is
not a junior or support-only role
. The successful candidate will be trusted to operate independently, manage priorities without constant supervision, and contribute positively to a low-friction, efficient working environment. This role is suited to someone who naturally applies themselves and takes responsibility for results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Take ownership of day-to-day sales coordination and customer engagement
Manage inbound and outbound sales enquiries professionally and efficiently
Prepare and issue quotations, process orders, and maintain accurate CRM records
Drive sales activity and support the achievement of business revenue targets
Proactively manage client relationships and follow opportunities through to completion
Liaise directly with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Maintain accurate sales documentation, reports, and records
Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer experience
Operate confidently across the business with minimal management input
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Minimum 3-5 years' experience
in sales, sales coordination, or a similar commercial role
Proven ability to work
independently and without constant direction
Strong organisational, communication, and commercial awareness skills
Ability to prioritise workload and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and customer-facing confidence
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems
Solutions-focused mindset with a strong sense of accountability
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
Experience within construction, surveying, or heavy equipment industries
Knowledge of site equipment, ideally including Leica and/or Steelwrist products
Technical understanding of surveying equipment or machine attachments
