Sales & Customer Service Administrator
to support our sales estimators, customer service team, and daily office operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an office, admin, or customer service role and be confident handling inbound enquiries, preparing simple quotations, and assisting with dispatch coordination.
Role Overview
You will support the sales team by handling customer communication (phone and email), preparing simple quotations, updating internal logs, and assisting with courier/dispatch coordination to ensure orders leave on time.
This is a fully office-based role requiring accuracy, initiative, and confident communication.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm (35 hours per week)
(7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support
Preparing simple, non-technical quotations
Redirecting technical enquiries to the relevant estimator
Logging and updating quotation records
Customer Service
Handling inbound calls and emails
Providing order updates and processing amendments
Answering basic product queries (training provided)
Directing customers to the correct team member when needed
Office Administration
Updating CRM, sales, and production logs
Printing production sheets and attaching order notes
Liaising with production and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow
Maintaining organised digital and paper records
Dispatch & Consignment Coordination
Preparing courier labels (DX, TNT/FedEx, DPD, G-Force, etc.)
Organising shipments and ensuring goods leave on time
Obtaining courier quotes and selecting the most cost-effective option
Maintaining accurate dispatch and tracking records
What We're Looking For
Professional and confident communication skills (email & phone)
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM systems, courier portals)
Positive, proactive attitude within a small office team
Reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct
Able to work independently once trained
Desirable Experience
(Training provided if needed)
Office/admin/customer service experience
Experience preparing quotations or processing orders
Familiarity with courier booking platforms
Understanding of dispatch/logistics processes
Experience in manufacturing, construction supplies, or industrial products
