About the role:
We're looking for an additional Sales & Customer Support Advisor to join the team and work alongside Joe, who has been with us since August 2024. This is a collaborative role -- not a competitive one. You'll work as a pair, sharing enquiries, quotes, follow-ups and ultimately splitting the combined commission 50/50.
A large part of this role is communication, attention to detail, and admin -- speaking to customers, creating accurate quotations, updating the CRM, scheduling orders, and ensuring every customer receives exactly what has been discussed. If you like a job where no two enquiries are the same and you enjoy helping people make decisions, you'll fit in well.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Answering phone, email and online chat enquiries
Greeting customers in the showroom and understanding their needs
Producing quotes and clarifying product specifications
Following up on quotes and progressing sales
Helping customers through decision-making and product choices
Logging enquiries and updating CRM records accurately
Assisting with the ordering process and ensuring correct items are supplied
Liaising with suppliers, warehouse team and fitters when required
Supporting general office activity within a small, friendly team
What we're looking for:
Friendly and personable style of communication
Strong written and verbal English
Calm and helpful approach -- even with demanding customers
Strong attention to detail (sizes, finishes, product variations matter!)
Comfortable using software/CRM systems and learning new tools
Reliable, organised and proactive
Happy working as part of a team -- shared success, not solo targets
Prior sales or customer service experience is helpful but not essential
