We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Tax Development Executive to join our new team.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for business development and a strong understanding of tax services. You will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients, helping to drive growth across our tax advisory, compliance, and planning services.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Provide follow up for webinars, inbound downloads / outreach for cross sale of existing clients
Book appointments with tax specialists for prospects
Identify and research potential clients within target markets (e.g. owner-managed businesses, SMEs, high-net-worth individuals).
Qualify inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking events.
Maintain and grow a pipeline of tax service opportunities.
Client Engagement
Initiate conversations with prospects to understand their tax needs and challenges.
Present the firm's tax capabilities in a compelling and consultative manner.
Book meetings for senior tax advisors and partners with qualified prospects.
Collaboration & Strategy
Deliver the activation section of the tax growth plan for the UK
Work closely with the tax advisory team to align outreach with service offerings. Work closely with Head of Tax and UK Marketing Director.
Support marketing campaigns and events focused on tax services.
Provide feedback on market trends and client needs to inform service development.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities in the CRM system.
Track KPIs including outreach volume, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
Prepare regular reports for leadership on pipeline progress and performance.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in a business development, sales, or client-facing role (preferably within professional services or financial services / banking).
Understanding of UK tax services (corporate tax, personal tax, VAT, R&D, etc.) is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Comfortable using CRM tools and digital outreach platforms.
