Job Overview
IBIS Packaging Solutions Ltd is seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Development Manager to join our team in Port Talbot. This role is ideal for someone with proven sales success who is eager to grow quickly into a field-based sales role.
You'll start office-based, learning our product range and customer processes before progressing into a hybrid role where you'll visit customers, manage accounts, and develop new business.
Salary & Benefits

Key Responsibilities
Generate and convert B2B leads through proactive outreach and relationship building
Handle inbound enquiries, provide quotes, and manage customer communications
Maintain accurate sales records and CRM input
Process orders using Sage 50 Accounts
Collaborate with the team to deliver packaging solutions
Prepare to move into a field-based role with regular client visits and travel across the UK
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a B2B sales role
Strong time management and ability to prioritise work independently
Computer literate, including Outlook, Microsoft 365, and Sage 50
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with a professional, motivated, and goal-oriented attitude
Desirable
Experience within the packaging industry
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipelines
Experience in both telesales and face-to-face sales environments
