For over 25 years, we have specialised in supplying fixture and fitting components across the UK. We are currently in search of a dynamic individual to join our team for this office based role in Beverley.
In this dual role, you will be tasked with data analysis that identifies potential sale opportunities and initiate contact with both new and existing customers. As an essential member of the sales team, you will significantly contribute to driving business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
o Data Analysis:
Conduct thorough analyses to identify growth opportunities, increase client spending, and ensure long-term success.
o New Business Development
: Proactively seek new clients by utilising both self-sourced and company-provided leads to broaden our customer base.
o Engage With Irregular Trade Customers
: Reach out to these customers to explore additional products that could satisfy their needs and promote more regular orders.
o Reach out To Lapsed Customers:
Speak to these customers to understand why they switched suppliers, and how we could have prevented losing the business.
o Transition Regular Website Customers:
Identify regular website customers and work towards converting them into trade accounts for improved service and engagement.
What We Are Seeking
- A natural drive for initiating sales and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and speak rather than hide behind emails.
- A strategic thinker with strong planning abilities.
- Confidence in interacting with individuals from various backgrounds.
- Highly organised and self-motivated.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of the fixtures and fittings industry, office furniture or caravan manufacturing would be advantageous.
This role comes with a considerable degree of autonomy - and if you have had to google "autonomy meaning in sales", then this isn't the team for you.
Working hours:
Mon - Thu 8.30am - 5pm and Fri 8:30am - 3.30pm
