Job Summary:


Due to significant business growth, we are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven, and ambitious individual to join our expanding team. As a

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

, you will play a central role in accelerating commercial performance by improving lead qualification, enhancing training-related conversions, and supporting seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and technical departments.

The role combines lead generation, account management, early-stage sales activity, and proactive outreach to strengthen our market position across the UK and Europe.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:



Lead Generation & Qualification



Generate, identify, and qualify new leads through CRM systems, inbound enquiries, social media activity, and paid digital campaigns. Warm and nurture leads before passing thoroughly qualified prospects to the regional sales team or the Restec Training Manager. Implement and refine efficient lead qualification processes to improve conversion rates and pipeline accuracy. Conduct targeted outbound calls to smaller-value customers to promote new products, stimulate sales activity, and expand engagement.

Account Management & Customer Engagement



Manage a portfolio of smaller customer accounts, ensuring regular communication, identifying sales opportunities, and driving repeat business. Maintain post-training follow-up with contractors to understand business value, uncover product requirements, and build long-term loyalty. Support the creation and development of account plans for growth and retention strategies.

Sales Prospecting & Appointment Setting



Carry out direct prospecting activity to identify potential merchant customers. Make initial outreach enquiries, qualify their suitability, and book meetings for external sales representatives. Build strong early-stage relationships to increase brand awareness and expand market reach.

Internal Collaboration & Training Support



Work closely with training coordinator to understand trainer schedules, ensuring smooth planning that accounts for travel efficiency and geographic coverage. Collaborate with the sales order team to identify and activate upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Contribute to the development and execution of lead generation strategies aligned with marketing initiatives and brand objectives.

Data, Reporting & Performance Monitoring



Participate in monthly KPI reporting, providing clear insights into lead volume, conversion performance, training-influenced sales, and campaign effectiveness. Establish and maintain transparent sales goals and KPIs, driving accountability. Stay informed on market trends and industry changes to support continuous improvement in sales strategy and customer engagement.

European Market Support



Provide communication support for European customers where required. Multilingual ability is highly advantageous, with German language skills considered a significant asset as we continue to expand within European markets.

Key Skills & Experience



Proven and consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within a commercial or fast-paced environment. Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience with measurable success in delivering KPIs and converting leads. Confident, fast-learning, and highly driven individual with a clear desire for growth and career advancement. Energetic, talkative, and results-focused personality, thriving within dynamic teams and proactive sales environments. No construction-specific technical experience required--full training will be provided. A willingness to learn and adopt new sector knowledge is essential. Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with marketing, sales, operations, and training teams to influence regional strategies. Demonstrated ability to manage, nurture, and progress leads through the early sales pipeline. Capable of working both independently and as part of a high-performance team. Multilingual ability strongly preferred;

German language skills highly desirable.

Salary: 28,000 - 33,000 based on experience
