We know that scaling starts with the right people, and we're looking for a curious, goal-oriented and technologically proficient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to learn the art and science of B2B sales, using advanced tools (including AI) to enhance efficiency and make tangible contributions to the business.
As a member of our Sales Development Team, you will:
Identify and qualify new business opportunities
through a mix of AI-powered research, outbound outreach, and inbound lead management
Map out key accounts
and decision-makers, building structured plans to reach and engage them
Use
AI tools and CRM systems
to automate workflows, enrich prospect data, and increase efficiency across your day-to-day
Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to
craft tailored messaging and outreach strategies
Begin to build strong relationships with prospects, applying
insight, research, and a clear understanding of their business challenges
Stay curious -- keep learning about TrueLayer's products, the market landscape, and how our solutions can solve real-world problems
Share insights from conversations with prospects to help improve our go-to-market strategy and product offering
About you:
You're motivated to learn how to be successful in sales
Your communication style is articulate, direct, and impactful
You enjoy researching and examining the key drivers of a business to understand what makes them tick
You're curious about AI and how it can be used to streamline your work
You're motivated by targets and personal growth, and you bring an initiative-driven, goal-oriented attitude
You're comfortable using tools (e.g. CRMs, sales engagement platforms) and picking up new tech quickly
You perform well in a lively environment where every day offers different opportunities and tasks
We would be particularly excited if you have:
Previous experience in a sales, customer support or client-facing role
Interest or knowledge in eCommerce, fintech, payments, or another tech-driven sector
Experience using AI tools (e.g. for writing, research, or sales engagement)
Exposure to international markets
