Role Purpose







The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating qualified new business opportunities by identifying and engaging decision-makers within target accounts. Acting as the first point of commercial contact, the SDR plays a critical role in building top-of-funnel pipeline to support the Business Development team. Using a clearly defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), the SDR converts interest into opportunity by booking meetings through insight-led, multi-channel outreach--directly contributing to ARR growth and the overall success of the Go-to-Market strategy.




Key Responsibilities






Pipeline Generation






Prospect and identify new business opportunities through outbound calls, LinkedIn, events, and email sequences
+ Research and map ICP accounts, including key stakeholders, buyer personas, and buying triggers
+ Maintain high outbound activity volumes with strategic precision, not spray-and-pray
+ Qualify inbound leads and route them effectively based on fit and urgency




Opportunity Qualification






Apply qualification frameworks to early-stage leads
+ Use CRM data and outreach intelligence tools to assess buying readiness
+ Book discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives with warm leads




Sales Enablement and Coordination





Log and manage all activities in the CRM (HubSpot/other)
+ Share account-level insights, objections, and buying signals with the sales and marketing teams
+ Support campaigns and targeted outreach around events, webinars, product releases, and ABM plays




Metrics and Accountability





Hit and exceed monthly KPIs: meetings booked, SQLs, lead-to-opportunity conversion rate
+ Provide weekly activity and pipeline reporting to Sales Director
+ Monitoring and nurturing on the Go To Market prioritised target prospects




Candidate Profile




A driven Sales Representative or similar background in B2B, interested in developing a career in business development Resilient, ambitious, and thrives in an investment-backed, high-growth environment. Consultative sales skills with ability to distil technical/regulatory services into board-level, value-driven propositions Can Skilfully sell the brand and outcome not the features. Commercially sharp, disciplined, and data-driven (CRM management). Desirable: SaaS, compliance, risk, or professional services sales background.
