Job Description

Outbound Business Development Representative

London, United Kingdom (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office) | Up to 50,000 base | 70,000 OTE | Accelerators for over-performance

With a recent strategic investment from Zurich Insurance and backing from the people behind Deliveroo, Zoopla, and Delivery Hero, we continue to grow and evolve. Our journey has already been featured in The Economist, TechCrunch, and The Times, just to name a few.

A brief overview:

As our first Outbound BDR, you'll be the driving force at the top of our sales funnel, the sole BDR in the team, owning outbound execution while working closely with sales leadership on strategy. You'll take direction on priorities and focus, while bringing a methodical, hands-on approach to building repeatable processes that generate qualified leads and create pipeline stability. Through targeted, high-quality prospecting, you'll fuel new business and deliver opportunities for our Account Executives to convert, helping build the engine that powers our growth.

What you will do:

Generate pipeline through consistent, high-quality outbound activity Own multi-channel outreach across cold calls, email sequences and LinkedIn Build and execute repeatable outreach cadences that drive engagement and can be scaled across the team. Leverage the sales tech stack to maximise prospecting efficiency. Identify, research, and target ICP accounts and buyer personas, creating tailored outreach strategies. Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handover of opportunities and alignment on target accounts. Track and report on KPIs and conversion rates (dials, meetings booked, opps accepted, opp-to-close) to maintain a data-driven approach. Continuously test and optimise messaging and cadences based on performance metrics and market feedback. Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene in Salesforce, ensuring all activities, contacts, and opportunities are logged and accurate. Engage with senior decision-makers credibly, understanding their business challenges and positioning Onsi's value effectively. Self-coach using call recordings and feedback loops to continually refine outreach techniques.

You will love this opportunity if:

You're someone who thrives when taking ownership, challenges the norm, and celebrates the small wins along the way. Whether it's navigating ambiguity or owning your impact, this role will allow you to stretch your limits and grow. There is no 'I' in Onsi, we don't take ourselves too seriously and always win as a team.

You will need:

Proven track record as an SDR with consistent success meeting or exceeding targets in a B2B tech sales environment. Strong outbound experience (phone, email, LinkedIn) with ability to build pipeline across multiple channels. Experience developing, testing and refining repeatable, scalable sales processes. Strong copywriting for sales emails and LinkedIn outreach. Commercial acumen and confidence engaging senior stakeholders. Fluency with sales tech stack (e.g. Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo/Cognism/ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gemini/call recording tools). with willingness and ability to adopt new stacks.

Is This Role a Fit for You?

This role is a great match if you thrive on ownership, embrace ambiguity as a chance to grow, and celebrate small wins while keeping the big picture in sight. Most importantly, you believe there's no I in Onsi -- we always win as a team.

It's probably not for you if you prefer rigid structure, narrowly defined roles, or working fully remote. We're hands-on generalists who adapt quickly and learn best by collaborating in person.

What will you get in return?
