HeadBox is on the lookout for a Sales Development Representative to join our US Sales team. We are an award-winning B2B in-person meetings and events platform powered by AI software. Leveraging our suite of AI software tools, HeadBox connects business customers with creative, inspiring, and iconic venues in dense city locations, turning meetings and events into memorable experiences. We have proven the model in London, Sydney, and Melbourne, and are demonstrating early success in New York. Backed by Guinness Asset Management, Deepbridge Capital and Egora Ventures, we are on a mission to bring people and spaces together to make brilliant things happen, everywhere. We now employ a team of 70 HeadBoxers, based in London, Sydney and Melbourne.
The Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be reporting into the U.S Sales Lead and be responsible for generating leads and booking qualified meetings for our 360 Business Development team in the US, with a focus on New York.
You'll be selling a suite of innovative software products:
- A sales enablement platform that gives venues access to live, high-intent event leads in real time, helping them proactively secure bookings.
- A groundbreaking digital tool that uses generative AI to produce immersive 3D venue tours, enhancing how venues market and sell their spaces online.
As the first point of contact with potential clients, you'll be instrumental in building a pipeline and driving awareness of HeadBox's offering across key markets in the United States.
Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Conduct outbound activity with cold calling, supported by LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns
Follow up on inbound and marketing-qualified leads
Research target venues and decision-makers to identify new opportunities
Opportunity Qualification
Own qualification for dedicated industry verticals
Understand client needs and determine the fit for our solutions
Maintain detailed lead records in our CRM
Meeting Booking
Book high-quality, qualified meetings for the US Business Development team
Support the transition of leads into the full sales process
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with 360 Sales team and U.S Sales Lead and Marketing
Provide insight on lead quality, objections, and trends to optimise outreach
Attend regular team syncs and training sessions
Key Performance Indicator
Each day you'll be expected to make a minimum of 100 touch points with ICP prospects
Minimum 60 calls per day
10 Meetings booked per week (7 sat)
Support the team in closing 4 deals per month

We operate a 38-hour hybrid flexible working week. Typically, this is Monday-Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday 10 am - 5 pm. (3 days per week in our office in Shoreditch)
