24,000-28,000 per year, depending on experience

EDINBURGH HONEY CO is an independent, family-owned company with over 70 years of beekeeping traditions. We specialize in sourcing high-quality raw honey sustainably, promoting environmental responsibility through our practices.

About

We're a small but growing business with two shops and a friendly, close-knit team. Our focus is on delivering great customer experiences while building our B2B presence. We're now looking for a versatile and energetic team member to support both on the shop floor and behind the scenes with digital marketing and admin tasks.

This is a hybrid role -- part customer service, part digital support -- ideal for someone who enjoys variety, likes learning new skills, and wants to grow with the company.

What You'll Be Doing

In the Shop (approx. 40% of the role):

Welcoming and assisting customers with purchases and enquiries, customer relationship management Keeping the shop floor tidy, stocked, and well-presented Supporting team members on the shop floor -- we're a friendly, energetic bunch (including Lewis, who always keeps the team laughing!)

Behind the Scenes (approx. 60% of the role):

Supporting digital marketing: newsletters, product listings, website updates and building landing pages Assisting with lead research and customer communications Helping with day-to-day admin tasks and system updates Learning and contributing to our online growth strategy with digital marketing and B2B sales

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable chatting with customers Organised and proactive -- can manage their time and tasks independently Digitally confident: basic skills in Google Drive, email tools, spreadsheets Willing to learn marketing tools (like Zoho, CRM, web development) A strong communicator -- both in-person and in writing Curious and motivated to grow into a bigger role over time

Nice to Have (but not required):

Experience in retail or hospitality Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Zoho, Google Ads) Some design or writing experience (newsletters, product descriptions) Interest in small business and marketing
