As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Sales Director to lead our dynamic team driving new business opportunities. The Sales Director will join the Senior Leadership team and is expected to drive ideas to build long term business relationships.

Role Overview:



We are looking for a dynamic and commercially astute Sales Director to lead our sales performance, ensuring alignment with our strategic and financial growth targets. This is a role, with end-to-end responsibility for revenue delivery, customer growth, and commercial planning in a fast-moving and constantly growing sector.

The Sales Director will lead the sales process with a view to increase long-term strategic customers. It is expected that this self-motivated individual will lead the global sales drive, working closely with the CEO and marketing team.

You'll nurture relationships, understand client needs, and position our company as the trusted solution provider.

This is a target-driven role, suited to someone with strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive, consultative approach to sales with an ability to motivate and coach/mentor colleagues .

Key Responsibilities:



Own and drive the commercial agenda, with full accountability for sales growth, margin, and forecasting

Proactively chase new business, unlocking opportunities, and secure high-value accounts

Provide robust sales reporting and forecasting, ensuring visibility and accuracy in all financial planning

Build and maintain a strong sales strategy, ensuring consistent activity and follow-up.

Confidently analyse commercial performance, providing insights and making data-led decisions

Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, or proposals to partners/decision-makers.

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close, ensuring smooth account management also.

Work closely with marketing to support lead generation campaigns and improve conversion rates.

Manage the CRM system and sales records up to date and report on pipeline performance.

Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities as required. This is likely to include both national and overseas travel.

Work closely with the onboarding team to manage the pre-sale and post-sale process.

Work alongside our production teams as our strength is the ongoing relationship as this translates to increased usage through revenue growth through sales of additional capacity and services.

Skills & Experience:



Proven experience in B2B sales or business development in a sales leadership role, within the accountancy and bookkeeping sector and at least 5 years experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Lead by example: competitive, energetic, and focused on delivery

Present regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Develop team capabilities and drive a high-performance culture across sales and marketing functions

A consultative sales style, able to identify client needs and craft tailored solutions.

Highly motivated, resilient, and target-driven with a positive attitude.

Excellent organisation and time management skills.

Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage pipelines and performance.

Experience in presenting to and negotiating with senior decision-makers.

It's important that you are able to handle objections in a constructive way and seek ways to address questions or push-back in a pragmatic manner. The Sales team are key players within the business; therefore, you should proactively seek ways to further your understanding of our business and the wider accounting and FinTech ecosystem.

Competitive base salary six-figure plus uncapped commission/bonus structure.
