About the role



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Engineer to join our well-established architecture team. In this role you will support the design, documentation and costing of solutions across our three pillars: UCaaS, CCaaS and Security & Networking.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales engineering career preferably with a background in computing, systems engineering, or solution design for Telecoms or Contact sectors who wants to grow into a Solution Architect rol

Role Objectives



As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with Solution Architects and cross-functional teams to gather & translate business requirements into robust, high-level technical designs. You will play a key role in supporting the Solution Architecture team and enabling the sales team to achieve targets, while ensuring all solutions meet agreed minimum margin thresholds.

Your responsibilities will include producing detailed technical documentation such as Bills of Materials (BoMs), schematics, and high-level design overviews. You will design solutions that not only meet customer needs but also follow manufacturer guidelines, industry best practices, and internal design standards.

What will you do?



Assist in designing data networking, collaboration and Customer Experience solutions including LAN, WAN, Cloud based video, audio chat, automation & AI solutions. Contribute to technical design documents, solution diagrams and blueprints. Analyse business and technical requirements to ensure solutions meet customer needs and enterprise standards. Produce cost base associated with the technical designs. Collaborate with engineering, operations, commercial and sales teams throughout the solution lifecycle. Participate in technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and vendor assessments. Remain current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data, voice and CX. Deliver dashboard/Admin platform demos to customers. Maintaining and updating the CRM tracking tool (Salesforce.com) and assigning jobs to relevant resources.

What are we looking for?



Candidates should be highly IT literate with proficiency in using Microsoft Office productivity and automation tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. While not essential, basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), data networking concepts, VLANs, VoIP and Visio is advantageous
