Job Description
The Sales Engineer will continue the territory growth strategy of its TEST products. TEST products are focused on materials testing equipment for a diverse range of industries such as pharmaceutical, food, automotive, aerospace, defence, and packaging.
- Technical and relationship sales, heavily application-focused in response to enquiries from our customers and new leads
- Qualifying leads and converting them to satisfied customers
- Managing relationships with existing key accounts and developing new key accounts
- Feedback voice of customer information to enable continuous new product development
- Installation and training at the customer site of new equipment
- Application software technical support
- General account, contact and opportunity management in our CRM
- Weekly reporting and forecasting
- Supporting distributors demonstrate the benefits of our systems and providing a solution to their testing requirements
- Web seminar and tradeshow support as required
- Marketing support as required
- A Bachelor\'s Degree in an Engineering discipline
- 5 or more years of experience in application sales
- Experience selling hardware and software into quality control / R&D / production environments
- Experience configuring software systems including simple programming using macros / visual sequence builders
- Ability to travel 50% of the territory
