ITC Hydraulic Services Ltd have an opportunity for a Sales Engineer on a full-time basis to join their team, based at Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire. We are looking for someone who is a confident and well organised individual who can manage a busy workload and are able to work on their own and within a team.
Candidates should have Previous experience of working in a similar position, within a mechanical/hydraulics business.
Successful candidates MUST possess the following essential skills:
Previous experience in a technical sales role, ideally in a mechanical or hydraulics-focused business.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, or related engineering products and services.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
Proven relationship-building ability, with a focus on customer satisfaction and trust.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Determined, results-driven, and eager to contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand technical requirements and deliver bespoke solutions.
Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met and product capabilities are clearly communicated.
Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes in a timely and professional manner.
Offer post-sale technical support and training to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal product performance.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products and gather market insights.
Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns aligned with product specifications.
