Job Overview
Our client are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to clients across various sectors, including construction, architecture, and consulting. Your primary focus will be on sizing and selecting the most appropriate pumping station systems to achieve fit-for-purpose and cost-effective outcomes, particularly in situations where gravity access to the sewer is not possible.
Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to understand their specific requirements and project constraints.
• Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the most suitable pumping station solutions.
• Utilise advanced engineering software and tools to perform accurate calculations for system sizing and selection.
• Develop detailed technical proposals, including system designs, specifications, and performance projections.
• Create comprehensive tenders and quotations, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are accurately represented.
• Provide expert advice on pump selection, piping systems, control panels, and ancillary equipment to optimise system performance and efficiency.
• Assist clients in navigating regulatory requirements and obtaining necessary approvals for pumping station installations.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our solutions to potential clients and partners.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for complex projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in pumping station design and implementation.
• Provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting assistance and system optimisation recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials and technical documentation.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our pumping station solutions.
