We are seeking a motivated and skilled Internal Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent communication and customer service skills. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support the sales process, ensuring that our clients receive tailored solutions that meet their needs. This role requires a blend of IT knowledge and the ability to engage effectively with customers.

Duties

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during the sales process. Develop strong relationships with customers, addressing their queries and providing exceptional customer service. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients, ensuring they understand the features and benefits of our offerings. Responsible for the preparation of proposals and quotations , ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs. Utilise Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, to analyse data and create reports that inform sales strategies. Including quotation software, Radquote would be preferable but not essential. Manage time effectively to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in a sales engineering role or similar position within the sheet metal sector is preferred. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction. Outstanding organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
