Job Overview


We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support the organisation and execution of various events. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring events run smoothly, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with logistical arrangements. Responsibilities



Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and client presentations. Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and tracking reports. Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally through phone, email, or in person. Support lead generation activities, including market research and prospect outreach. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products/services. Communicate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to confirm bookings and event requirements. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with departmental documentation. Handle purchase requests, invoicing support, and basic financial documentation. Maintain office supplies related to sales and event operations. Provide excellent customer support before, during, and after events. Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers Gather feedback from clients and participants to support continuous improvement. Assist with marketing tasks such as social media posts, promotional emails, and event announcements. Coordinate production of promotional materials with the marketing team. Help monitor event and sales performance metrics.

Experience



Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event support is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable manner. Ability to work flexibly, including during evenings or weekends if required for specific events. Basic IT skills for managing registrations or using event management software are advantageous. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to build their career in event management while gaining practical experience in a vibrant setting.

Pay: 25,397.00-39,011.41 per year
