Job Overview
As a Sales Events co-ordinator you will be responsible for driving and developing business into the Hotel by pro-active sales activity. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work closely with the Sales Executive and Operational teams in order to meet and exceed budgeted revenue targets.

Duties Responsibilities
Respond within two working hours to all Reservation/event enquiries
Clarify expectations and establish a budget for each event
Conduct and initial consulation with the client. Establish the vision (if required)
Co-ordinate details for guests
Ensure administration of all reservations and events is maintained to a high standard
Liaising with the sales manager in all aspects of contract negotiation outside of agreed limits
Create a sales plan for the forthcoming 24 months
Achieving targets and commission set
Supporting the Sales Manager and operational team where required
Anticipate guests' needs where possible to enhance the quality of service and positively promote sales to increase revenue
Continual communication with all departments within the hotel in an accurate manner
Prepating and executing show rounds to clients and selling the hotel to the best of it's potential
Assisting in creation, development and maintenance of a seamless booking system for all guests
Coordinating all clients' needs prior to arrival at the hotel, restaurant and bar
Completing any budget and forecasting administration
Assisting in proactively selling the hotel facilities to potential guests and corporations
To ensure billing and credit agreements are managed and controlled, and methods of payment are secured for all reservation and events.
Follow all department processes, procedures and policies
Assist with the management of social media channels and proactively source new opportunities
Proactively maintain a positive sales culture throughout the business and have confidence to take and make decisions
Develop close working relationships with all departments, colleagues and managers to ensure guest expectations and financial obligations are met
Be fully aware of guest security, not disclosing guest information in line with implementation of GDPR
Carry out any other reasonable duty that may be requested by management that pertains to the total operation as may be reasonably required, from time to time.
