We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales & Events Manager to oversee and coordinate all events across all our venues from conception to execution. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, a passion for sales & event planning, and the ability to work under pressure. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every event runs smoothly and meets the expectations of clients and attendees alike.
Duties
Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and community gatherings.
Liaise with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure the best services at competitive rates.
Manage on-site logistics during events to ensure everything runs according to plan.
Supervise event staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance event offerings.
Experience
Proven experience in event management or a related field is essential.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building relationships.
Proficiency in using event management software and tools.
A creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
