We are recruiting for an Sales Executive based at our HQ in Bidford on Avon for our wholesale/e-commerce business.
This is an exciting new role within the business and will require someone who can set up and really establish the sales process within the business.
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, fantastic interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to use initiative and be adaptable. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage various tasks.
The Role of Sales Executive:
Growing and increasing sales in the business across the UK.
Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts.
Forecasting and upselling, be it on the phone or face to face.
Working as part of a small team to achieve high standards of business excellence.
Attending Trade Shows in a professional capacity
An interest in Fair Trade
Essential Sales Executive Skills:
Cold calling on the telephone - willingness and tenacity.
The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company.
Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients
The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.
Desirable Sales Executive Skills:
Punctual, reliable and able to demonstrate effective time management.
Career focused, hardworking and ambitious.
Strong telephone skills.
Positive, ambitious and driven with excellent listening/communication skills.
Experience of the wholesale industry would be advantageous but not essential.
Flexible and adaptable in support of the business is a must. We are a small team and have to support each other in our targets.
