What we are looking for
We are currently seeking a Sales Executive to join our Sales team based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire.
What youll be doing
To generate and maximise sales and profit through up and cross selling of all Ascot Racecourse products by targeted sales activity including direct mail marketing, inbound enquiries, proactive call campaigns, and by visiting exhibitions.
To maximise revenue and profit through the implementation of a sales activity plan by proactive selling (face to face meetings, cold calling and personal contacts) through the various sales platforms and use of best industry best practice
To continue to develop and account manage existing customers and suppliers to maximise revenue opportunities
Ensure that at all times, a best in class approach to sales is applied and KPIs are consistently achieved
To research and identify new target market opportunities and initiatives to continue to drive new customers to Ascot Racecourse in all departments.
To establish and maintain ongoing customer feedback and a high level of customer care for both internal and external customers.
To operate CRM effectively and accurately ensuring it is kept up-to-date, facilitating clear and precise information on sales pipeline, activity and progress against budget
To answer all incoming queries in a professional and efficient manner and convert enquiries into site visit/bookings
To assist in promotional events and racedays as required
To liaise across the Racecourses teams to identify further ticket sale opportunities
To continuously demonstrate The Ascot Way i.e. act as a role model through the Ascot values to provide the best possible customer service where delivery is always maintained.
Skills and experience you can bring
Minimum 1 years sales experience and be able to demonstrate success in a sales environment preferably within sport
Experience of selling to both corporate and private individuals at all levels is desirable
Knowledge of sports marketing in general, key trends and knowledge of hospitality sales would be desirable
Competence with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Dynamics would be desirable
Passion for sports and willingness to learn about the professional racing industry is important.
