Key Responsibilities:
Sales Process:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Identify customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles from either new or used stock.
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives to showcase features and benefits.
Carry out professional and thorough part exchange appraisal where applicable.
Provide detailed information about pricing, specifications, and financing options.
Negotiate sales agreements and finalise vehicle purchases, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to sales transactions.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Maintain regular contact with customers to inform them about new arrivals, promotions, and services.
Encourage customer referrals and repeat business by providing a positive buying experience.
Proactively seek new business opportunities through prospecting and maintaining the customer database.
Provide and maintain a customer experience aligned with both company and manufacturer standards, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience across all customer touchpoints. Monitor and act on customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., CSI, NPS, SSS) to meet or exceed Manufacturer and dealership benchmarks.
Sales Targets/KPI's:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets/KPIs set by the Sales Manager.
Utilize dealership and manufacturer provided leads alongside CRM tools to maximise sales opportunities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership's new and used vehicles, including features, specifications, and pricing. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. o Completing and passing all required assessments to ensure compliance to company, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Accurately complete and record all necessary paperwork and documentation related to vehicle sales. o Maintain detailed and organised records of all customer interactions and sales transactions.
Ensure all payments are made inline with purchase agreement and no outstanding funds prior to releasing goods.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, administration, accounts and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and product knowledge.
Work as a part of a sales team ensuring that the dealership required standards are met- including but not exclusively: Showroom standards/manufacturer corporate standards. Used car display and forecourt Customer parking and general site upkeep Digital presence of new and used cars including photography
