We're looking for an experienced, confident

sales professional

to join our commercial team and help us grow long-term relationships with business customers across the UK.

(Monday-Friday | No retail hours | No public-facing sales)

This role is ideal for someone who already knows how to sell -- perhaps from

retail, trade counter, account management, or field sales

-- and is ready to step into a

business-to-business environment

where conversations are more considered, relationships matter, and success is built over time rather than one-off transactions.

You don't need an engineering degree. What matters is that you're curious, commercially minded, and comfortable learning products well enough to explain them clearly and confidently to customers.

The Role



You'll work with customers who need practical, reliable electrical and energy solutions. Your job is to understand their needs, guide them through the options, and help shape solutions that genuinely fit their business.

You'll manage opportunities from first conversation through to order, supported by our engineering and operations teams when deeper technical input is needed.

This is a

relationship-led role

, not a hard-sell environment.

What You'll Be Doing



Building strong, professional relationships with new and existing business customers Speaking with customers by phone, video call, email, and in person (including occasional site visits) Understanding customer requirements and translating them into clear, workable solutions Preparing quotations and proposals, with support from technical colleagues where needed Managing your own sales pipeline and following opportunities through to completion Working closely with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver a smooth customer experience Supporting customers beyond the initial sale to help develop long-term relationships Keeping CRM records up to date and sharing progress with the wider team Representing the business professionally at customer meetings and occasional industry events

What We're Looking For

Qualifications and experience



Proven experience in

sales or customer-facing commercial roles



Sales experience in retail, trade, technical products, construction, energy, or equipment hire (helpful but not essential)

Exposure to electrical products, renewables, power systems, or engineered solutions (helpful but not essential)

Account management or repeat-business sales experience (helpful but not essential)

Comfortable selling to

business customers

, or keen to move into B2B sales

Knowledge and technical skills



Confident communicator who can build trust and rapport

Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple opportunities at once

Practical mindset -- you like understanding how things work and explaining them clearly

Other requirements



Motivated to develop your career and take on more responsibility over time

Full UK driving licence
