Role Overview
We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our growing team.
This is a role focused on identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities within our target industries. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environments, with the ability to build relationships from shop floor to board level.
Proactively identify and pursue new leads within the food, beverage, dairy, and chemical manufacturing sectors.
Generate and qualify leads for:
Stainless steel tank sales (used and new)
Equipment and production line sales
Turnkey engineering projects (relocations, removals, installations)
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with company growth targets.
Develop relationships with Factory Managers, Engineering Managers, and Project Directors.
Conduct client meetings, site visits, and virtual presentations.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender responses in collaboration with the Sales Director.
Report on sales activity, pipeline status, and market trends.
Represent SBS professionally at trade shows, networking events, and client sites across the UK and Europe.
Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in engineering, industrial equipment, or manufacturing.
Proven track record in new business development and achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of industrial processes, mechanical or electrical systems, or equipment sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own pipeline.
Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as required.
Full UK driving licence.
Experience within beverage or food production environments.
Knowledge of machinery relocation, process equipment, or stainless steel fabrication.
Ability to speak another European language (French, German, Spanish, or Polish).
