We're looking for a motivated Sales Executive to drive advertising sales across our print and digital platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, meeting targets, and contributing to the success of a growing publication.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets for display and online advertising.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agencies through regular telephone contact (around 40-50 proactive sales calls and emails and follow-up calls/emails per day).
Manage the smooth administration of all advertising copy to meet production schedules and publication deadlines.
Ensure all order orders are accurately entered and processed on the CRM before moving copy to production.
Liaise closely with team members to ensure the smooth running of each issue.
Maintain up-to-date records of confirmed and pending sales revenue.
Attend relevant shows and exhibitions on behalf of the publication (some travel and overnight stays may be required).
Carry out additional duties as required to support the wider business.
Key Performance Indicators
Meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the Director.
Timely and accurate submission of advertising copy and orders for invoicing.
Effective communication with clients and colleagues to ensure production and invoicing deadlines are met.
About You
A confident, enthusiastic communicator with excellent telephone, written and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
Must have previous sales experience - the ideal candidate will also have media sales experience but this is not essential.
