Main duties and responsibilities:
- Researching target customers and make contacts by emailing, cold calling, visiting customers to generate leads and secure sales
- Liaising with potential customers to coordinate their needs to management
- Generate sales and orders with agreed targets
- Book in and partake in meetings with potential clients
- Supporting management to tailor pitches to each individual client's needs
- Maintaining working relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for further business
- Strategic business development and planning
- Represent the company at exhibition and tradeshows
- Be brand aware and ambassador for the products
Skills and Qualifications:
- A successful track record in a sales environment
- Creative marketing and selling ideas
- Have been working in the fashion/clothing industry at least 2-3 years
- 'Can do' attitude and self-motivation
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of CRM systems, with the ability to track statistics
- Excellent networking skills
- Full UK driving license and own car
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn, understand products and solutions as well as convey value propositions
- Awareness of the GDPR implications
