The Opportunity



With 30,000+ unique customers and prospects visiting our site each week, we sit on a rich stream of sales intelligence. You'll harness this data alongside inbound and outbound leads to identify opportunities, close deals, and grow customer value.

Having just launched our AI clinical support diagnostic tool and new products coming to market soon, we have a clear pipeline of sales opportunity and potential customers to sell to.

Key Responsibilities



Manage a pipeline of warm inbound and targeted outbound leads. Identify opportunities through CRM insights, data analytics, and customer behaviour. Approach warm leads and pitch the business to them. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, editorial/product, tech) to align account goals with broader commercial and content strategies. Report on KPIs, including new revenue, upsell and engagement metrics. Operate with a growth mindset and a solutions-first approach to client conversations.

What We're Looking For



Essential

1-2 years' experience in a Sales Development / Business Development role. Demonstrated success generating and qualifying leads and supporting pipeline development. Strong communication skills and a professional, consultative sales approach. Experience using CRM systems to manage workflows and opportunities. Comfortable analysing data to identify trends and sales opportunities. Eager to own customer relationships and step into end-to-end account responsibility.
Desirable

Experience or interest in veterinary, animal health, education, or health tech sectors. Familiarity with SaaS or subscription services. Understanding of selling to SMEs, institutions, or regional buying groups. Animal lover (we have pets in the office every day).

This is a full-time, hybrid role that requires the individual to be based in our office on the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk and Essex borders with the core team on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and working remotely on a Monday and Friday.
