Due to growth of STARTrading - a business supported by Paragon for resource, we are now seeking a Sales Executive to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will need experience working in a telephone based sales environment, working towards targets set, to help the business achieve its growth ambitions. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and objection handle, whilst maintaining professional standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
Lead Engagement & Phone Sales
Call and engage
warm inbound leads
who have registered interest in trading events.
Qualify prospects quickly and guide them toward purchasing
low-ticket event tickets
(e.g. Wealth Through Trading).
Confidently sell over the phone using a consultative but decisive approach.
Maintain high call activity and conversion rates in a fast-paced environment.
Objection Handling & Closing
Think on your feet when handling common objections such as:
"I'm just browsing, I need to think about it, I don't have the money right now, I've tried trading before and lost money"* Reframe concerns, establish urgency, and support informed decision-making
Keep conversations focused on outcomes, value, and next steps.
Volume & Performance Focus
Work towards
daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
.
Prioritise speed to lead, follow-up discipline, and efficient pipeline management.
Accurately log calls, notes, and outcomes in the CRM system.
Continuously improve performance through feedback, call reviews, and training.
Handover to Client Relationship Manager
Ensure a clean, professional handover of sold clients to the Client Relationship Manager.
Capture key client notes, expectations, and context to ensure a smooth transition.
Take pride in setting up the client for a positive onboarding experience -- even though you won't manage them long-term.
