ROLE OVERVIEW
KES Group's Energi Division is seeking an experienced technical sales professional to drive growth in our Low Voltage and Medium Voltage switchgear solutions across Ireland, UK, and European markets. This role will focus on onboarding new customers and expanding our market presence in the rapidly growing data centre, commercial, and industrial sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute sales strategies for LV/MV switchgear solutions across assigned territories.
Identify and onboard new customers in data centres, commercial developments, and industrial facilities.
Build relationships with electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and end-users.
Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop custom switchgear solutions.
Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact through project completion.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and customer relationship management.
Represent KES Group at industry trade shows and networking events.
Coordinate with operations team for project delivery and customer satisfaction
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years B2B technical sales experience, preferably in electrical equipment/switchgear.
Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems and applications.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in technical products.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across Ireland, UK, and Europe.
Valid driving license and passport for international travel.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
Existing relationships within electrical contracting or consulting engineering sectors.
Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of data centre power infrastructure requirements.
Understanding of electrical standards and compliance (IEC, BS, etc.).
Previous experience selling to European markets.
Additional languages (particularly German, French, or Dutch)
