The Sales Executive will oversee and grow sales across both divisions of the business -Tops Pizza Supply Chain (internal franchise supply) and Tops Supplies (external wholesale sales). They will ensure that all Tops Pizza stores order exclusively through the Tops Pizza Head Office supply network, maximise weekly order values, and drive overall profitability through strategic sales initiatives, improved stock mix, and pricing optimisation. On the external side, they will expand Tops Supplies' customer base across the UK -- particularly targeting independent pizza shops and takeaways near existing branches to improve delivery efficiency and margin.

Key Responsibilities
1. Internal Franchise Sales (Tops Pizza Network)
Ensure all Tops Pizza franchisees purchase exclusively from Tops Pizza Head Office.
Monitor weekly orders from each franchise and implement strategies to increase average order value.
Work closely with Warehouse, Logistics, and the Head of Supply to optimise delivery routes, bundles, and pricing.
Regularly communicate with franchisees to promote new products, offers, and bundles.
Analyse purchasing patterns to identify growth opportunities and reduce stock leakage or off-book purchases.
Keep product catalogues and pricing lists up to date with current market trends and competitor insights.
Report weekly on sales volume, missed orders, and franchise compliance.
2. External Sales (Tops Supplies Division)
Expand the Tops Supplies customer base across the UK, targeting independent pizza shops, takeaways, and local convenience outlets.
Develop sales routes and partnerships in areas surrounding existing Tops Pizza branches for efficient delivery.
Develop minimum requirements for new and existing accounts - weekly sales/margins/revenue collections
Maintain and grow relationships with existing external customers, ensuring consistent repeat business.
Research and identify new product opportunities relevant to the market.
Negotiate pricing and margin improvements while staying competitive.
Represent Tops Supplies professionally when visiting clients and trade shows.
3. Collaboration & Strategy
Work closely with the Head of Supply and Logistics Team to streamline operations and manage customer expectations.
Suggest and develop bundle offers, seasonal promotions, and product packages that improve profitability.
Provide monthly reports on sales growth, new accounts, and gross profit performance.
Outline accounts that need urgent remedial action
Assist in the creation of sales forecasts and contribute to purchasing planning.

Franchise order compliance: % of Tops Pizza stores ordering 100% of supplies from Head Office.
Average order value (AOV) and weekly order volume growth.
Gross profit margin improvement across both divisions.

Skills & Experience
Proven B2B sales experience (foodservice, wholesale, or supply chain preferred).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate.
Organised and analytical with the ability to interpret sales data.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Competitive base salary plus a performance-based bonus scheme. The commission structure will be tailored based on experience and agreed during the hiring process.
