We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at William Sugg & Co Ltd, a renowned name in heritage and architectural lighting since 1837.
This role involves developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across various market channels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have experience with B2B sales within the lighting sector, ideally with knowledge of Heritage lighting. The Sales Executive will utilise our Odoo CRM software to manage sales pipelines effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sales and customer engagement to contribute to our company's growth. You'll be promoting our lighting solutions to architects, designers, consultants, contractors and distributors ensuring the William Sugg name remains synonymous with quality, craftsmanship and innovation.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including telemarketing and networking.
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring client needs are met effectively.
Maintain and update customer information within CRM software, ensuring accurate records of interactions and transactions.
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products or services.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within a similar industry sector.
Proficiency in CRM software alongside other CRM tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical knowledge clearly.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Experience in telemarketing or cold calling is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse clients.
