Made By Cooper operates as part of a growing group of businesses. This role sits within the wider group, with your initial focus and day-to-day work based at Made By Cooper. As the group continues to develop, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibility or move into different roles for the right person.
The Role
You'll manage inbound enquiries, actively work them through the sales funnel, and take responsibility for the customer journey from first contact through to delivery and aftercare.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via email, phone, and live chat
Proactively follow up leads
by phone and email to move enquiries towards a decision
Qualify customer needs and provide clear product guidance and recommendations
Prepare and send quotes, then
confidently chase and convert
them
Take
end-to-end ownership of orders
, ensuring customers are supported from enquiry through to delivery
Support and assist with
all active orders
, including those originally handled by other team members
Manage customer queries, changes, issues, and
handle complaints professionally and calmly
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotes, and order progress
Work closely with the marketing, design, and production teams to ensure smooth handovers
Identify opportunities to add value or upsell where appropriate
About You
Proven experience in a
sales-focused or commercial customer service role
Confident and professional when speaking with customers on the phone
Comfortable chasing leads and following up without being prompted
Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries and orders at once
Calm, practical, and solution-focused when handling issues or complaints
Comfortable using computers and internal systems
Interest in creative products, design, or merchandise is a plus
