Lloyd Land Rover Kelso is planning for growth in 2026 to build on the success of 2025. To facilitate this growth we now want to employ an additional salesperson.

We are looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team selling New Landrovers, Approved Used Landrovers and used vehicles from our multi-franchise Lloyd Select brand. As a key point of contact, you will be responsible for generating vehicle sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the dealership's revenue and profitability. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career within a leading automotive group.

Salary:

Basic Salary + Commission + Company Car

Hours:

5 Day Working week equivalent, with a weekend rota on reduced hours

Role responsibilities:



Engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the sales process for new and used vehicles. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. Provide customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations. Process sales, including confirming terms of agreement and closing sales. Respond to customer queries and resolve objections effectively. Sell appropriate finance and insurance products to meet customer needs. Achieve and exceed personal and dealership sales targets.

For this role, we are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following skills and attributes:



Proven experience in a sales role, preferably, but not exclusively, within the automotive industry. A strong track record of exceeding sales targets. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. A willingness to follow process A Full UK Driving Licence. The ability to work as part of a team and build rapport with customers. Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and organizational skills are desirable. FCA approved or willing to undergo the necessary training to meet the required standard
