The Role



We are seeking a

Sales Executive

to drive growth across our Manufacturing and Retail channels. In this

site-based role

, you will manage internal resources while building and maintaining strong customer relationships to deliver profitable, sustainable sales growth in line with JDM's objectives.

Working closely with the Business Development team, you will support all commercial activity--from Category Insight, Innovation, and NPD through to customer service, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives. Your focus will be on maximising account performance, identifying new opportunities for growth, and ensuring excellent service to your designated accounts.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00) role reporting directly to the

Manufacturing Account Manager

, in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities



Support the Manufacturing and Retail Commercial team, understanding customer strategies and aligning JDM's position to deliver growth. Work closely with Commercial and NPD teams to analyse trends, understand consumer behaviour, and apply insights to customer strategies. Manage commercial issues for designated accounts, including New Business tracker, proposals, forecasting, and day-to-day pricing. Support pricing negotiations in line with contract periods to maintain account profitability. Defend existing sales while identifying opportunities for growth through NPD or competitive positioning. Collaborate with the NPD department to drive proactive product development. Provide commercial support across internal departments to ensure excellent customer service levels. Represent JDM's EPIC values internally and externally, building strong relationships. Coordinate multi-point interactions with customers across Purchasing, Supply Chain, Development, and Technical teams.

Skills & Attributes



Strong IT skills, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.). Excellent communication skills, both in person and via telephone/email. Highly organised and able to self-manage repetitive tasks. Able to use initiative and work independently where required. Collaborative team player, professional, polite, and respectful. Proactive in finding solutions and improving processes. Flexible and adaptable approach to work. Fluent in written and verbal English.
