Established over 50 years ago, we are a leading family-run Landscape and Nursery business based in the West Midlands. Our continued growth has led to the expansion of our Wholesale Cash & Carry operations at our main 7-acre nursery site in Lichfield. We have recently taken over a 10-acre production site in Staffordshire specialising in peat free production, increasing our production capacity and trading activity within the landscaping, domestic, and retail markets. Purpose of the Role
Primarily to develop and grow sales into the domestic and commercial landscape market, with the option to be involved in retail sales as well. The role involves working closely with Procurement, Despatch, and Production to ensure we deliver excellent service to our clients. For candidates seeking greater responsibility, there is an opportunity to take on a management role either immediately if experienced, or in the future as part of career progression.

Key Responsibilities
Adopting and growing existing accounts
Generating new clients and promoting the business in the marketplace
Working closely with marketing to ensure well-targeted marketing spend
Collaborate with marketing and contribute to the marketing plan
Following up on quotes and converting them into orders where possible
Ensuring sales orders are processed efficiently
Collaborating with the team to develop and improve sales processes and systems
Achieving desired margins on both own production and traded stock
Providing cover for other salespeople as required
Assisting with company promotion at trade stands and events
Ensuring adherence to company quality standards
Reporting on progress against targets and identifying issues and solutions
Working with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient company operations
