We are assisting a Travel & Events company, who are looking for confident salespeople to join their vibrant / fun team, based in their lively offices near South Bank.

The purpose of the role is to convert leads from the website into bookings whilst maintaining a high level of customer service to ensure repeat business. Their revenue will contribute towards the success of the Sales Teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be expected to convert sales leads at a specified rate relative to the number of enquiries provided. We will expect to see improvement month on month until they at a level where you are achieving your individual targets based on the number and type of enquiries received. You will also be required to manage the administration process for making the bookings regarding the events you have sold directly with the event suppliers, accommodation providers and third parties where required.

1. Review and prioritise all sales leads enquiries
2. Provide the highest level of sales and customer service
3. Follow up all sales enquiries adhering to the best practice, call structure and script guidelines
4. Conduct outbound, pre-sales, initial sales and follow up call in order to progress and close a booking
5. Exceed all revenue targets assigned, implement revenue shortfall tactics where appropriate
6. Manage all personal business statistics such as; margin, number of sales, secured/unsecured margin, last login, quote viewed and enquiry logins appropriately to increase business
7. Perform all administration required with booking an event or weekend package directly with the suppliers
8. Ensure all administration regarding an event is correctly executed in the company system
9. Address both positive and negative customer feedback appropriately
10. Contributes ideas for personal development and Team Meetings.

Skills & Experience:

  • An enthusiastic, articulate person with a hard-working attitude and the potential to have a prolific career in sales.
  • Confident communicator
  • Previous call centre / sales experience (highly desirable)
  • Well educated with a minimum of A-C grade in English and Maths GCSE.
  • Preferably educated to a degree level.
The Package:
  • \xc2\xa322,000 - \xc2\xa323,000 + commission (OTE up to \xc2\xa350,000)
  • Monday - Friday (office hours)
  • Office based (Waterloo) - potential to work from home 1 day a week
