Job Description

? About Us
At StoryTerrace, we're on a mission to ensure that every life story is captured and preserved in a meaningful way. As the market leader in personal biography publishing, we've helped thousands of clients turn their memories into professionally written memoirs using our proprietary platform and a network of over 600 skilled writers.
We're proud to be an award-winning, purpose-driven scale-up with offices in London and a strong presence in the US. Our culture is consistently described as supportive, open-minded, and mission-driven, something our team deeply values. We combine the impact of a meaningful product with a collaborative, trust-based environment where people love working with one another.
Our work has been featured in GQ, The Wall Street Journal, The Times, and beyond. Now, we're looking for a talented Sales Executive to join our North American team and help even more people tell their stories.

You'll also work closely with our editorial team, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience from start to finish. We'll provide you with 3 months of onboarding and training, and ongoing career development support.
This role is ideal for someone who combines empathy and rapport-building with the drive, resilience, and persuasion skills needed to consistently close sales. You're as motivated by hitting targets as you are by helping clients tell their stories.

  • Exceptional ability to build rapport quickly and genuinely, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative team player who values integrity and humility
  • Familiarity with G Suite, CRM, and dialer systems (HubSpot, Aircall, or similar)
  • Comfortable handling objections, guiding clients through decision-making, and closing sales
  • Results-driven, disciplined, and proactive in identifying and developing new business opportunities (phone, email, inbound inquiries)
  • Naturally curious and a great conversationalist - you enjoy engaging conversations across a wide range of topics
  • Growth mindset, ambition to excel, and openness to feedback
  • Self-motivated, organised, and adaptable - you thrive in a fast-changing, scale-up environment and see change as an opportunity to grow
Bonus points if you have : Experience in writing or publishing
?? Compensation, Perks & Benefits
  • Annual salary range of 28,000 - 30,000 with company bonus and commission scheme (OTE 50,000+)
  • 25 days paid holidays + 8 bank holidays
  • Pension (4% + 4%)
  • Private health care
  • London-based hybrid role with flexibility around working hours. Our fixed office days are Tuesdays to Thursdays with weekly breakfast and team lunches
  • Opportunity to work in a supportive and fun work environment, producing a meaningful product. You'll be trained and supported throughout the first weeks of your onboarding, allowing you to hit the ground running and set you up for success.
  • An international start-up environment with a strong sense of team and mission!
