Develop and maintain relationships with regular customers and suppliers, handling enquiries on pricing, stock and bulk orders. Advise customers on product ranges, promotions and suitable selections to maximise sales. Liaise with management on stock supply, demand trends and sales targets. Maintain sales records, analyse purchasing patterns and support the development of sales strategies. Manage expectations for orders and reserved stock. Resolve customer complaints professionally. Provide strong product knowledge on alcohol, convenience items, and related goods, including competitor awareness. Support leadership tasks, guide staff on sales techniques and uphold high standards of customer service and compliance with age-restricted items.
Job requirements:
Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role. On the job training provided. Degree qualifications preferred. Other qualifications considered. Skills: Negotiation Customer service Record keeping Strategy
