We are looking for a talented Sales Executive who is motivated and keen to develop their career in the food industry with one of Scotland's elite food brands.
Duties and responsibilities:
Identify, contact, and convert new business opportunities across the hospitality and catering sectors.
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients through regular visits and check-ins.
Discuss upcoming menu changes, seasonal needs, and product availability with customers.
Confidently present the John Gilmour Butchers product range and brand values.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate communication of orders, feedback, and bespoke requirements.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Represent the company professionally while driving the provided company vehicle.
Maximising revenue and growth of the business to meet and exceed company targets
Who you are:
Well organised and self-motivated with a positive and proactive approach
Passionate and focused on delivering results
Exemplary interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
Experience of customer management within FMCG desired but not essential
Excellent opportunity to learn and develop with progression and career advancement opportunities available
-Self-motivated, organised, and confident when approaching new prospects.
-Ability to understand and discuss chefs' menus, product requirements, and service needs.
-Full UK driving licence (company car provided).
