We are looking to fill a new position within our Sales Team for Malmaison Glasgow.

As Sales Executive you will be managing and developing relationships with local clients, to drive both corporate and social business into the hotel. You will be generating enquiries and helping to maximise conversion, whilst showcasing our fabulous hotel and services. Making great experiences happen for our guests will be your top priority, doing whatever you can to ensure they get the top-notch service they deserve, every time. It will also be a supportive role not only will you be working with the property, you will work closely with the Regional and National Accounts teams to maximise all sales opportunities.

Key Duties;
  • Develop local relationships and network to drive revenue and awareness
  • Researches and identifies new business opportunities from clients within the local market
  • Supports the management of social media strategy, looking at ways to engage with the local community, raise awareness and engagement Supports the development, execution and maintenance of the property Sales & Marketing Plans
  • Supports the conversion of enquiries, working closely with Central M&E Teams
  • Identifies and establishes relationships with third party organisation\'s that can assist development of brand and product awareness either through direct bookings, referrals or PR
  • Achievement of annual and quarterly KPIs, personal revenue targets
Key Objectives;
  • To drive corporate and groups rooms revenue
  • To drive occupancy and revenue from the meetings and events spaces
  • To maximize revenue performance through local account management within all sectors, with a focus on obtaining fair market share of their Accommodation, Meetings & Events and F&B spend
  • Work closely with the Regional and National Accounts teams to maximise all sales opportunities.
  • To pro-actively cross-sell the full Malmaison estate, whenever possible, along with Frasers Hospitality worldwide, whenever appropriate. Ensuring all opportunities are identified and referrals sent for follow up, according to the process provided
  • To pro-actively promote and instil our brand sales culture throughout all departments
  • To develop and maintain the respect of guests, staff and management
  • To works according to the SOPs within the brand, ensuring adoption of best practice
