2.Job Purpose:
Could you be our next Sales Executive?
As our Sales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for students starting their dwell Student Living journey and will act as an ambassador for our brand, both digitally and physically. From answering prospective student queries about all of our UK accommodation sites, to arranging viewings for their ideal room, the Sales & Marketing team do it all.
To help students along their dwell journey, you will be communicating with them via phone calls, emails and monitoring the website live chat, meaning we need someone who is flexible, positive and enthusiastic about sales.
We are also searching for someone who can turn leads into sales, as well as retaining current residents, so you must be friendly and confident in your approach.
3.Job Accountabilities:
About the job:
Working under the Deputy Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for handling sales enquiries for all of our UK properties. The main job of the team is to ensure all properties achieve 100% occupancy, by retaining our current residents and bringing in new business, whilst helping to develop summer lets across the group. You will achieve this by answering phones, responding to emails, and monitoring our website live chat.
Alongside this, you will be helping students on their next stage of their dwell journey by undertaking allocations and contract signings for your assigned sites. This means that you'll be reviewing student applications and checking their suitability for rooms to ensure we provide the best possible living experience to the students. You will use our housing software to process the applications, with full training provided on the job.
Another key component to your role will be to ensure that students are ready to check-in with us, and you'll support them along the way by providing excellent customer service, alongside ensuring that they have all of the correct information and documentation.
The role may require you to travel to our different UK properties from time to time, for reasons that include promoting brand awareness by attending university open days, freshers' fairs and housing fairs. Whilst this is an exciting and fun part of the job, you will also be required to liaise with university partners and international agents, therefore you're expected to have a professional attitude and possess strong communication skills.
At dwell Student Living, we take data processing seriously so you will need to complete all tasks being fully compliant with operating procedures, policies and guidelines. Full training for all processes will be provided on the job.
4. About you:
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience of working in a busy customer focused or service environment
Confident in both phone and face-to-face sales
Comfortable working independently, as well as in a team setting
Experience working within a sales and/or administration role, or similar
Organised and punctual, with strong time management skills
Enthusiastic and approachable, with a positive attitude
Can quickly adapt to new situations
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
