Role Overview
VFS Group is seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Executive to support continued growth within our bespoke commercial vehicle solutions business. This is a phone-led sales role, with approximately 90% of sales conducted over the phone, so confidence, control, and professionalism in conversations are essential.
Previous exposure to the commercial vehicle market and/or wood-based products would be beneficial but is not essential. Full training will be provided to ensure you are fully competent in our products, processes, and brand standards.
This role is suited to a proven salesperson who understands how to qualify leads, close deals, and consistently deliver revenue. Performance is rewarded--this is a commission-based position designed for individuals who back their own ability.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities through outbound calling and follow-up activity
Handle consultative, high-value sales conversations over the phone
Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to close
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
Accurately manage pipelines, activity, and customer data within CRM systems
Conduct product and solution discussions via phone or video call
Work closely with internal teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements
Follow up promptly on inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads
Maintain a strong working knowledge of VFS Group products and value proposition
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally phone-based or consultative
Confident, persuasive communicator with strong closing ability
Commercially minded and target-driven
Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and customer data
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working in a performance-led environment
Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships
