Used Car Sales Executive

As part of our continued and ambitious growth, David James is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and forward-thinking Used Car Sales Executive to join our expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast paced, performance driven environment and who understands that modern automotive retail is about far more than selling cars it's about brand presence, customer engagement, and digital excellence.

The Role

As a Used Car Sales Executive, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer journey while representing the David James brand at the highest level.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing inbound internet, email, and telephone enquiries efficiently and professionally Processing online and distance sales, ensuring compliance and exceptional customer care throughout Presenting and demonstrating vehicle specifications, features, and benefits with confidence and clarity Creating high quality vehicle walk-around videos and social media content Actively participating in and contributing to our social media presence, including filmed content, reels, and promotional videos Building strong, long lasting relationships with customers both on site and remotely Providing tailored solutions including finance, insurance products, warranties, and paint protection Maintaining regular communication with customers from order through to delivery Consistently meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, presentation, and customer service at all time
Social Media & Digital Engagement

David James Limited is extremely proactive and progressive in its approach to social media and digital marketing.

As part of this role, you will be:

Expected to confidently appear in video content Involved in promoting stock, brand messaging, and customer engagement across multiple platforms A key contributor to the continued growth of our digital presence
This role suits someone who is comfortable on camera, understands the value of modern marketing, and enjoys being part of a forward thinking dealership.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in used car sales (Motor Trade experience is essential) Excellent communication and customer handling skills Strong product knowledge and attention to detail Results driven with a structured, professional approach Confident using IT systems and digital platforms A good understanding of social media and modern sales techniques Smart, well presented, and enthusiastic Full UK driving licence (essential)
