The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling the company's products and services to retail and trade customers. The role involves developing strong customer relationships, managing sales processes and contributing to the overall business development objectives.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
To identify and generate selling opportunities for the full range of company products
Provide realistic quotations to satisfy customer needs
To negotiate best possible deals which satisfy both customer and company requirements
To maintain up to date customers records and use them as an effective selling tool.
Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and promote company services.
Develop engaging content for websites, brochures, email newsletters, and social media platforms tailored to the construction and landscaping audience.
Social Media: Create, schedule, and monitor posts across social platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
CRM and Email Marketing: Use CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage contact databases and execute email marketing campaigns.
Brand Management: Ensure all marketing materials are on-brand and consistent in style, tone, and message.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring long term business success.
Exchange information to maximise selling opportunities, solve problems and make decisions
To ensure customers credit worthiness is established and properly controlled in line with agreed terms.
Conduct product demonstrations to promote offerings and maximise sales opportunities.
Responsible for the trade and retail sales section of the business.
Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary and reasonable for the success of the business.
WHAT DO WE NEED FORM YOU?
Recent proven experience in an external face to face sales-based role
Strong current knowledge of building materials and of the current construction market.
Willing and able to work in an office-based sales capacity.
Full and clean driving license
Current knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
A passion for delivering customer service excellence
Competent in the use of IT (CRM, Excel, outlook etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.
Commitment to work Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm and Sat 9am-1pm (Seasonal)
