Role Brief
You will be based at our manufacturing facility in Greenfield, Oldham and will be required to attend outside events throughout the year, such as RHS Chelsea and other flower shows. Completing home visits throughout the UK to offer advice and confirm orders as key to the role. Your success will also be supported by our extensive digital and print enquiry generation programme, operated by our dedicated marketing team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
? Driving sales growth, representing Hartley Botanic in a professional, "luxury" way with every potential customer
? Establishing contact with potential new customers proactively by telephone
? Responding to sales enquiries from new and existing customers via telephone and email.
? Completing regular home visits throughout the UK to gain information and provide advice, for your own customers and those of the wider team if required.
? Providing written quotations based on customer requirements.
? Negotiating with customers to secure sales orders for the Hartley Botanic
? Meeting monthly and annual sales targets
? Drive potential sales through the appropriate Landscape Architects & garden designers
? Attend events throughout the year, such as flower shows
? Maintaining the company's contact database management system with up-to-date contact and activity details
? Ensuring effective internal communication within the Sales, Production and Customer
Service Departments and across Hartley Botanic
? Assisting to identify the opportunities for upcoming products, and for development and enhancement of existing products
? Monitoring and reporting the potential collaborators and competitor activities and identifying business threats and opportunities
? A highly proactive and consultative customer approach
? To nurture the relationship with our prospective customers
? The ability to communicate construction/building technical issues
Skills and Role Requirements
? Previous experience in bespoke manufacturing, customer services, hospitality or any othersimilar high end/luxury brand sales
? Exceptional customer service and active selling skills
? A highly proactive and consultative customer approach
? Excellent communication and relationship building skills across all media channels
? Real experience in working with a luxury brand
? Focus on the daily customer requests generated by our marketing department
? To nurture the relationship with our prospective customers.
? To play a key role in our customer-focused sales approach
? Excellent problem solving and organisation skills
? The ability to communicate technical issues
? To be self-motivated and flexible in approach
? Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills
? A tenacious work attitude and a team focused mentality
? The ability to meet deadlines and achieve realistic sales targets
? Full clean UK driving licence required
? Use of Personal vehicle with appropriate business vehicle insurance
? Staying away to complete home visits required
